In general you need to oil teak wood every 6 months.
In harsher climates where humidity and temperature is on the extremes you should oil in every 3 months.
Big home and hardware stores like home-depot , ace-hardware etc. has all kinds of teak treating solutions and equipment. Teak is unfortunately not maintenance free.
